One Year of Resonance: Building Something Worth Resonating
One year ago, Resonance was just an idea out of a home office.
We believed that therapy should be deeply human. That people deserve more than a diagnosis or a checklist. They deserve to be known, understood, challenged with compassion, and equipped with tools that help them build the lives they want.
Today, as we celebrate our first year, we're filled with gratitude.
Over the past twelve months, we've had the privilege of walking alongside individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, grief, substance use, and countless other moments that shape a person's story. Every session has reminded us that healing doesn't happen because someone has all the answers—it happens because people are willing to show up, do difficult work, and trust the process.
We've also been humbled by the support of our community. From physicians, schools, and local organizations to the clients who have shared our name with friends and family, Resonance has grown almost entirely because people believed in what we're trying to build. That's something we don't take for granted.
Our first year has brought milestones we only hoped for when we opened our doors. We've expanded our office, welcomed new clinicians to our team, and continued growing our ability to serve Central Ohio. More importantly, we've remained committed to doing that growth thoughtfully. We never wanted to become simply a larger practice—we wanted to become a better one.
The name Resonance comes from a simple idea. In music, resonance occurs when one vibration causes another to respond. We believe healing often works the same way. When one person is genuinely present with another, something begins to change. New perspectives emerge. Hope grows stronger. People discover strengths they didn't know they had.
That vision continues to guide every decision we make.
As we look toward our second year, we're excited to continue expanding access to high-quality mental health care while staying true to what brought us here. We'll continue investing in exceptional clinicians, creating affirming spaces for people from all backgrounds, supporting our LGBTQ+ community, serving veterans and military families, and helping individuals and families find meaningful, lasting change.
Growth isn't our ultimate goal.
Helping people build lives that feel authentic, connected, and fulfilling is.
To everyone who has trusted us with your story, referred someone you care about, encouraged our work, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You have played a part in this first chapter.
Here's to another year of personal growth, healing, and creating lives that resonate with what matters most.
With gratitude,
Jonah and Gina
